Ben and Ratha get married in Stockport Town Hall and Oddfellows, Manchester

Ben and Ratha met in the middle of a Heavy metal concert a few years ago. ben is from Sussex and Ratha is from Manchester but they both hit it off and ended up living and working in London. They originally planned to get married 16 months ago but with the pandemic, they had to reschedule and it was lovely they asked me to be a part of their day. They had made rings together in September 21 just before their wedding and the rings are lovely!

The 25th of September was a dull and slightly cloudy sort of day but thankfully the rain stayed at bay for most of it. They had booked my micro wedding package to cover the ceremony at Stockport Town Hall and some photos in the grounds of Oddfellow where they where booked to stay. I am enjoying these micro weddings, if something good has come out of the pandemic it's the fact that people are choosing what they really want to do and not what they think they should be doing.

The ceremony was lovely and had just immediate family members there making the day really special. After the ceremony, the family headed for a meal and we met later to take photos. I did indulge in an ice cream as the weather had got warmer as the day went on. Not complaining though haha!

Here are a few of my favourites from the day:
