Questions about weddings

How do you describe your style?

I'd say my style is quite natural and relaxed. I really want to capture personalities and how you interact with each other whether that's a small glance, the huge laugh you always have after your partner has cracked a joke or just the way you have fun together.

Do you pose people?

No, not really. I do have spaces and ideas in mind based on the location we are at and how you are with each other but I'm happy to help if you suddenly forget what to do with your arms or hands (which happens more than you think) but I will never push you into an uncomfortable pose. I do try and have a laugh and get you to joke together or just get you moving if you are feeling uncomfortable, this normally involves walking and not running or jumping or anything.

What happens before the wedding day?

Before the wedding day, we will meet up a couple of times to discuss ideas and your day. Two weeks before we will have a final meeting to go through all the details of your wedding day from timings to any formal photographs you may want to any surprises you have planned and all the fine details.

What happens on the day?

It all depends on what package you have chosen however I will always capture your ceremony, lots of candids, couple shots and some formals. Apart from that it honestly depends on your plans for your wedding day!

When will I get to see my photos?

You will receive the photos about 4-6 weeks after your wedding day. I provide a private online gallery that is password secured and will have a private link so only you or any family members you share that with will see them. You can download both high-resolution photos and social media resolution photos which are great to have a few on your phone as they still look good but save space. Not long after you have your online gallery you will also receive your USB in the post.

Can I view a full wedding gallery?

Yes of course you can just drop me a message through my contact form or email and I'll send you some examples.

How do I book?

Booking is easy, just drop me a message and we can arrange to meet up for a chat and go through your wedding details. To confirm your booking I ask for you to sign a contract and pay a 20% deposit the rest is due 2 weeks before your wedding.

Our photos are simply stunning and she has captured so much joy, happiness and love. Thank you so much Christina, you have given us such precious memories to keep, we adore them

Questions about Family and Newborn Shoots

How do you describe your family and newborn style?

Family and Newborn shoots can be very different. With Newborn shoots, we very much go by baby's rhythms and comfort. When they need feeding we stop, if they sleep or wake we let them, we just focus on those special moments as a family.

Family shoots can be crazy and hectic but always lots of fun. Again we listen to the kids and how they are feeling and try and create a fun space for them to interact with you and the camera but not too stressful or hard for them.

What should we wear?

I always recommend simple clothing, no logos or images or strong patterns. Colour co-ordinating is always pleasing to the eye but is not necessary and no you don't have to match. My photos are always natural so I want you to feel comfortable.

How long will the session last?

It depends upon the package you have chosen, so either 30 or 60 minutes. I naturally photograph our family in a few different areas in the location and we have some fun too!

When will I get to see my photos?

You will receive the photos about a week after your session. I provide a private online gallery that is password secured and will have a private link so only you or any family members you share that with will see them. You can download both high-resolution photos and social media resolution photos which are great to have a few on your phone as they still look good but save space.

How do I book?

Booking is easy, send me a message and we can confirm your booking and decide a date and location. I ask for you to sign a contract and pay a 20% deposit the rest is due on the day of your shoot.

What if it rains are we are outside?

Weather, especially in the north can be a bit of guesswork but if it's raining on the day of your shoot you have the option to reschedule or go ahead and pop your wellies on. I will always look at the weather forecast and if it's predicated rain or a storm then I will be in touch to see how you want to go ahead so there's no need to worry.

Christina's photographs captured the natural and relaxed feel we wanted, and she guided us throughout the planning ensuring we didn't have to worry about anything on the day. Arrived early, got on with taking fantastic photos and we hardly noticed she was around during the ceremony - subtly and professionally getting her job done.
