Beth had gone to college with a bride I'd photographed in March called Melissa and she had seen Melissa's engagement photos and loved my style and the photos so she booked me to photograph her and Jacks special day. When we met for a brew we chatted over all things geeky (wait til you see the cake) and just had a good laugh as we talked through thier plans.
Jack and Beth met when he first started university and was he handed a note by someone with Beth's name on to go and find her so he could book on a trip they were all going on and, as they say that was that, that was all it took for them to get introduced and fall in love.
Beth and Jack got married on a hot sunny day in September at the college they both attended. There was a Marquee in the gardens and lots of yellow roses on the tables, garden games, and some very tasty pulled pork.
Their day was very, very relaxed and felt like a garden party which is exactly what they wanted. All their friends danced the night away and Beth had a father-daughter dance which made me smile and feel emotional at the same time as my Grandma had died the day before their wedding so the words of the song rung very true.
