From Bumble to 'I do': A Small Wedding Story in Liverpool

When Loryn and Ben decided to tie the knot, they envisioned a day filled with love, laughter, family and the wonderful backdrop of Liverpool. Their small wedding at the Liverpool Town Hall turned out to be just that. From their first date at a cozy pizza spot near the Town Hall to capturing picturesque wedding photos throughout Liverpool city center, Loryn and Ben illustrate the joy of building a life together.

Loryn and Ben’s story began on the dating app Bumble. They set the scene at a local pizza place, right across from the Town Hall. As they settled in with their plates, the chemistry was undeniable. However, Loryn seemed to grapple with her less-than-graceful pizza-eating style. Picture this: two people sharing laughs while Loryn enthusiastically tries to navigate her slice—definitely a humorous first encounter!

That delightful evening marked the start of many adventures together, filled with laughter and connection. They quickly discovered their shared love for exploring the city and trying new restaurants.

Fast forward three years, and the couple joyfully welcomed little Louie into their world. On Louie’s first Christmas Day, Ben orchestrated an unforgettable proposal. He cleverly enlisted Louie’s help to reveal a special message on a vest: “Will mother marry father?” The heartwarming moment highlighted their loving family dynamic, setting the stage for their wedding journey.

Their wedding ceremony took place at the stunning Liverpool Town Hall, a venue full of history and character. Surrounded by close family and friends, Loryn and Ben exchanged vows that honored their commitment to each other.

After the heartfelt ceremony, we walked towards the docks to photograph lovely moments along the way.
