From Pub Crawl to Marriage: Joanne and Martin's Personal Story of Love, Homemade Touches, and a Surprise Proposal

In the charming village of Croston, a love story came to life as Joanne and Martin celebrated their wedding at the picturesque Croston Church. Their journey began on a lively pub crawl in Southport and blossomed into a beautiful family celebration that included their daughter's christening. This wedding embraced their shared experiences and personal touch, making it a memorable occasion for everyone involved.

It was on a vibrant pub crawl in Southport where their eyes met for the first time. As friends gathered and drinks flowed, Martin's sense of humor stood out, and Joanne was instantly drawn to him. This initial spark ignited a series of adventures, from weekend trips to art fairs, ultimately leading them to become a committed family.

Fast forward to a sunny afternoon in Croston, where Martin during a peaceful pram walk with their baby daughter, on the footbridge behind Croston Old School knelt down and proposed, Jo of course said yes and they celebrated their engagement with a pint at their favorite local pub.

The wedding became even more meaningful as they decided to Christen their daughter at the same time. Croston Church and Croston Old School created the ideal setting for their day. There were lots of personal touches throughout the day, an illustrator to draw all the guests and in the evening a fish and chip van arrived.
