Gabi and Tahir first met when they were 18 and 19 through friends at college and have been together ever since then. They both love being outdoors and so it was a lovely surprise when walking around Keswick Lake that Tahir asked Gabi to marry him back in July 2022.
Despite being engaged for over a year they decided to plan their wedding in only 5 weeks, they said ironically they didn't want the stress. They both wanted a really relaxed day with family and very close friends there and this is what they had and it was perfect!
Bartle Hall is a venue I have photographed at many, many times but it was the first time I've been back this year and I really love the autumn colours in the grounds. Choosing the 2-hour micro wedding package I have they wanted a little bit of getting ready, the ceremony, some family and couple photos, the speeches, and with only 17 guests and a short timeline for the day this worked out perfectly for them.
Gabi and Tahir had their reception in the sunroom which was a first for me but absolutely perfect for a small reception and the views out to the grounds were gorgeous.
