Laura and Ross intimate Registry Office wedding with photos at Hurst Grange Park

When Laura and Ross were planning their wedding they decided they wanted to have a really personal and family oriented day. They opted for an intimate ceremony at Preston Registry Office, with just close family and friends. They chose their daughter to be bridesmaid so she could play a key part in their special day.

I joined Ross at the Registry Office and we enjoyed some laughs as he nervously awaited the arrival of his bride. As soon as he saw Laura walk in those his nerves dissipated and their service was lovely.

Laura and Ross had booked me for a 2-hour photoshoot, so after the ceremony, we hot-footed it over to Hurst Grange for photographs. The weather was looking ominous but the couple really hoped to beat the rain. I managed to capture both formal group shots as well as pictures of just the couple, in the park’s beautiful surroundings before the rain arrived. After the photographs at Hurst Grange I left the couple to enjoy the rest of their day, including their delicious cake made by a very talented member of their family.
