Simon and Rachel came to me following a recommendation from their niece Sara, who’s wedding I photographed a few years ago. It means so much when people pass on my details to their friends and family, and it’s especially lovely when I get to see my former clients again!
The pair chose the exclusive Georgian manor Sparth House in Clayton le Moors, Lancashire, for their wedding.
The picturesque gardens at Spart House not only provided a beautiful backdrop for Simon and Rachel’s photographs, but also proved to be the perfect setting for a spot of axe throwing after the ceremony!
Both Simon and Rachel DJ and there were lots of vinyls and homemade bits around, which made it feel really personal. It was only a short day, but it was lovely. Simon and Rachel are a great couple and the wedding was so much fun, filled with lots of laughs. Here are a few of my highlights:
