Karen and Richard first met through a mutual friend back in 2012. They hit it off straight away and exchanged numbers. They soon discovered they had more friends in common, which helped avoid those sometimes awkward ‘meet the friends’ moments. Richard had just moved into a flat with his brother, who was away in the Army at the time, and so Karen offered to help get him settled in. After that, Karen became a frequent visitor and the pair made it ‘official’ in December 2012.
The couple have definitely faced a few trials over their decade together, especially with Richard’s Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. But with Richard’s tactical approach to life, and Karen’s willingness and drive to ‘get stuff done’ they’ve managed to overcome every challenge together, and come out even stronger.
Karen and Richard held their wedding at Wyrebank, which as the name suggests, is situated on the banks of the River Wyre, in the beautiful market town of Garstang. They enlisted the help of the talented Pretty Little Parties, who styled the venue and flowers beautifully.
Everything went so well and Karen and Richard said it was the “best day ever!” and these pictures will give them lots of fond memories to look back on:
