I first met Kate and Michael at my Mother’s Day mini shoot back in April 2021. They loved their photos from the shoot so much that they asked me if I could photograph their wedding.
The couple tied the knot against the breath-taking backdrop of the magnificent Marble Staircase in Stockport Town Hall.
After the ceremony it was on to one of the happy couple’s favourite local restaurants for a delicious Wedding Breakfast with their guests. Following the meal, the whole wedding party went back to Kate and Michael’s home for cake and to continue the party. The couple had even hired an ice cream truck for guests to enjoy!
Kate and Michael took their first dance in their dining room, with their guests squashed in and dancing all around them. The whole wedding was small but perfectly formed. It was a really lovely, relaxed day and it just shows you can have the day of your dreams without all the fuss.
